Ms. Meg Ricci

Ms. Ricci completed her Bachelors of Music in Choral/General K-12 Music Education at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Belmont provided opportunities for study in Classical and Commercial Voice, Guitar, Piano and World Percussion. During her time in Nashville, she performed with university ensembles and as a soloist at such venues as Nissan Stadium, The Schermmerhorn Symphony Center, and McAfee Concert Hall and in spotlight performances for Tennessee Music Educators Conference, Southeast Regional American Choral Directors Association Conferences and Nashville Composer Collective.
Ms. Ricci relocated to North Carolina in 2017. She began her career teaching K-6 General Music at Banoak Elementary (2017-2018) and was the Director of Choirs and Music Theory at Olympic High School from 2018-2021 where she also served as Fine Arts Department Chair.
Ms. Ricci's students are routinely selected to perform with local, state, and regional honors ensembles including: CMS Honor Choir, NC All-State Choir, 9-10 Select Honor Choir, NC Honor Choir, and ACDA Southern Regional Honor Choir.
She is absolutely thrilled to be joining the Knight Family this year as Choral Director and AP Music Theory Teacher!
Outside of school, Ms. Ricci teaches private voice, piano, and guitar and spends her free time hiking with Nash, her golden retriever, exploring new recipes and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
